1. Introduction

Venn Network, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Venn Network mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you access or use the Service.

By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the Service.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Effective Date” above and by providing notice within the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Use.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information about you in several ways when you use the Service.

2.1 Information You Provide to Us

Account Information. When you create an account, we collect information such as your name, email address, username, password, profile photo, and any other information you choose to provide during registration or when updating your profile.

Sensitive Information (Fertility/Childbirth Data). Certain features of the Service may allow you to provide information related to fertility, pregnancy, or childbirth. Providing this information is optional. We use it to support app functionality and to personalize your experience (for example, tailoring content, groups, or connections that may be relevant to you).

User Content. We collect any content, messages, posts, photos, videos, audio recordings, comments, and other materials that you submit, upload, or share through the Service (“User Content”).

Communications. If you contact us directly (for example, via email or in-app support), we collect the information you provide, including your name, email address, and the content of your message.

We do not ask you to provide your phone number, physical mailing address, your device's contact list, or other user contact information, and you should not include sensitive financial account data in your communications with us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To Provide and Improve the Service.

We use your information to operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including to create and manage your account, enable you to access features, match you with relevant content or connections, respond to your requests, and troubleshoot technical issues.

To Personalize Your Experience.

We use information about your usage, profile, and sensitive fertility/childbirth information (if you choose to provide it) to personalize your experience—for example, by tailoring content, recommendations, and community features.

To Communicate with You.

We use your contact information to send you updates, notifications, security alerts, support messages, and other information related to your use of the Service. With your consent (where required), we may also send you promotional emails and marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time (see Section 5.3).

Content you post or share through the Service (such as profile information, posts, photos, videos, audio, and comments) may be visible to other users consistent with your account settings and the nature of the Service.

4.2 With Service Providers

We may share your information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as:

Although we may use this information for third-party advertising targeting, you may choose whether to provide this information, and you may remove or update it at any time through your account settings.
